BFN

As they say on the boards. I know you're eager for news, so I'm posting from my conference (sshh).

How could I have possibly forgotten to pick up a test, you ask? Honestly, I was pretty sure it would be negative, so my subconscious must have, surprisingly, preferred taxes to bad news.

I'll try again soon, and you'll be sure to hear all about it.

Thanks again, all you darlings!

Will there be peeing on a stick in the middle of Penn Station? Because I hear that type of thing is OK in NYC.

Maggie said...

Alas, no. There was pee-stick acquisition in Times Square near midnight, because NYC is the city that never sleeps on a pee stick. And there was peeing in my friends' bathroom in Park Slope, where I witnessed the official negative sign.

(By the way, for those of you not familiar with baby-board acronyms, BFN stands for Big Fat Negative.)

As they say on the boards, it ain't over til AF! Any new "symptoms"?

Sorry! Better luck next time!

Well, that sucks. I assume the shipment contained only one "dose"?

Maggie said...

Yes, only one dose. Any more would have "gone bad" by now anyway.

Fear not. As my schedule was so incredibly wack last month, turns out I'm already due to try again this week, possibly. Keeping very careful check, and will order with time to spare this time...

This is beyond tacky of me, but I didn't see a link to email you. Or I wasn't patient enough to look and I'm usually tacky anyway, so...

Ahem.

Faking a seizure is a fantastic way to get attention from the boys you're partying with.

Heart your blog,
jen

To clarify for your readers: I don't fake seizures but I treat the people who do.

Here ends the Crazy.

AHEM. Surely there's SOMETHING to update us with?

Hello, my lovelies,

I've been on a Caribbean vacation with no phone or internet -- shocking, I know.

And you're playing tiny violins for me, I know I know.

Got in late last night. There will be updates once I dig out of my 500 backed up work e-mails and pay my taxes...

There is no pregnancy news. Correction -- there is no fertility news. There are new thoughts on fertilization procedures and pregnancy in general, and that will come soon.

I love you all, you are so beautiful I Just Can't Help Myself!

(sorry Nina, you know how it is...)
